Date Night

The other day our dinner plans were canceled so Austin and I were able to finally have some time to ourselves. We decided it was definitely time for a date night - our schedules don't allow us much time together. So, after a quick nap we headed out.

The first stop was an old barn near Austin's house. The weather was gorgeous, so we took a little walk and spent some time investigating. Unfortunately, I didn't stop to take any pictures :( Our dream is to renovate and live in an old barn so it was fun to look around and dream.

Afterward, we headed over to a little antique shop I drive by on my way to school. And we found some fantastic things for the kitchen.

Then, we stopped by Guitar Center to pick up some fancy mics and cables that Austin needed. And finally we went out to dinner at the restaurant where Austin works, Gaucho's Brazilian Steakhouse. I had never been there, so it was fun.

Nights like these remind me why I fell in love with Austin. We get along so easily and being around him just puts me at ease. I cannot wait to marry him (79 days!). It was a much needed night out.

turn that frown upside down,
Jess

I love the owl statue and the glass! I remember going to a antique shop with my mom and there was really old expensive things like a chair that looked like it would belong to a king. (there was a really sweet doggy in the store too!) It looks like you had a fun date night! :D

I love antique stores! I always find the most interesting things. I wish I could have seen the kings chair you found.
