First of all, happy Mother's Day :)
Yesterday, Austin's mom threw me a shower and it was great.
She spent hours combing local thrift stores for antique purses, scarves, hats, gloves, etc. to decorate the tables.
The food was delicious - they had amazing pasta dishes (I'm in love with all things pasta)
chocolate covered strawberries, little chocolate cups filled with a sort of whipped cream,
and a lovely cake shaped like an umbrella (get it? haha).
Austin did an awesome job of looking really creepy in every picture...
Doesn't help that he needs a haircut real bad.
It was tons of fun and everyone was so generous.
We got a bunch of amazing gifts - this was a bigger shower so I won't be sharing them with you.
Aus and I spent about two hours washing, sorting, assembling, and storing all of our gifts.
Here are a few more cute pictures
Love these girls!!
Hopefully I'll be able to share a few more pictures soon.
My lovely friend Sara brought her camera along and she always takes great pictures.
turn that frown upside down,
Jess
P.S. Twenty eight days. Crazy.
